Frequently Asked Questions:

Fire Pits come in a natural, patina finish that slowly darkens with time.

No assemblly Required.

Lifespan varies on use and environment.  Some bowls may take decades for rust to affect them.

Steel Fire Pits get hot, DO NOT TOUCH!

It is recommended that protection be placed between the Fire Pit and the surface you are using it on.  Radiant heat from the bottom can cause damage to all surfaces, especially wood decks.

The legs of the Fire Pit have zinc washers with a weather proof coating.  You may experience smudging on a smooth surface like concrete or stone.

Adding a snuffer lid will keep your area around the fire pit much cleaner.  To do so, be sure to purchase the Fire Pit that includes the snuffer lid.  A snuffer lid will greatly reduce any ash or embers falling through the drain hole in event of rain.

With time your fire pit will experience changes.  All steel will oxidize, causing surface rust.  However, that will work to protect the steel and extend it's life.  Do not scrape off the oxidized layer on the snuffer lid or fire pit.  The thickness of the steel will slow the rusting process and give you years of enjoyment.  Some users choose to use a high temperature paint to coat the surface of the fire pit, but that will need to be done every year if you decide to go that route.

Fire Pites will slowly get darker with time.

You do  not need to keep Fire Pits covered.  A snuffer lid will help to keep outside moisture from damaging the inside of the fire pit.
